David Boehm
Founder and Chairman
David is the Founder and Chairman of The Hub Children and Youth Centre, Vice-Chairman of the Childline Thailand Foundation, Co-Founder of Shwe Ya Min Foundation, and Director of Epilepsy Action Australia. He is also CEO of Miskawaan Health Group, a holistic healthcare services organization. He has extensive experience in natural resources, property and hospitality (all based in S.E. Asia) and the business of thoroughbred horse racing (Hong Kong, Singapore and Australasia). He is a Certified Public Accountant (Hong Kong) and Chartered Accountant (Australia), based in Hong Kong for over 30 years.
Bruce Stinson
Co-Founder and Vice Chairman
Bruce is the Co-Founder and Vice Chairman of The Hub Children and Youth Centre, Past President of the Rotary Club of Kowloon North and Founding Chairman of Camp Quality Hong Kong. Bruce has been active in pharmacy, leadership training and the media. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and is a member of the Australian Institute of Management. He has extensive experience in community service in Australia, Hong Kong and other areas in Asia for over 20 years.
Kevin O'Shaughnessy
Finance Director
Kevin is a CPA (Hong Kong) and Chartered Accountant (UK) and has been practicing in Hong Kong for over 30 years. He was previously a partner in the Hong Kong firm of Grant Thornton, and now runs his own consultancy working with clients who have investment in the Southeast Asian property and stock markets.
Emba Leung
Vice Chairwoman
Emba is a partner of Chin & Associates, Solicitors. For many years, Emba has made considerable contribution to various community service projects in both Hong Kong and China through her involvement as a Rotarian and Past President of the Rotary Club Kowloon North. She is also one of the founding members of The Hub Children and Youth Centre when it was first set up.
Ada Cheng
Board Member
Ada, is a chartered secretary and runs her own management consulting firm. Ada started her career in the United Kingdom, worked in Hong Kong and Australia. She has been instrumental in many local and international community projects, including Hepatitis B Immunization for 1 million children in China, for over 25 years through Rotary. She is a Past District Governor of Rotary D3450. She is a Director and Past Chairman of The Hong Kong Ballet Group and serves as the Advisor to the Arts Development Council since 2007.
Carey Cheung

Retired after 27 years at JP Morgan Chase, Carey is the Founder of Deerfield Partners – it directs private capital to unique asset managers and investment collaborations globally, with an initial focus on Aging-Related Healthcare, Consumer/Retail, and Real Estate.
Phillip King
Board Member
Phillip is the Founder and Chairman of Varcis Group, a partner at Deerfield Partners and a Founding Partner at Metals House Inc. Phillip has over 30 years of extensive experience in property investment and development, corporate finance and financial engineering, fund management, commodities trading and an eco-system builder for sports technology. Born in Hong Kong and growing up in the US, Phillip has the best of both worlds and is now active in promoting sports for grass roots in Asia.

Rotary Club
The Rotary Club of Kowloon North was chartered on 2nd June 1964 and is one of the Rotary Clubs with the longest history in Hong Kong. The Club has a successful track record in running charitable organizations in Hong Kong.
The Club is self-sufficient, raising funds for its charitable operations through annual fundraising events such as the “Prix de Hong Kong” Charity Ball in 2012 and “A Brazilian Night in Hong Kong” Charity Ball in 2014 (which also marked the 50th Anniversary of the Club in Hong Kong).
The launch of The HUB Hong Kong arm of its charity work is just the latest of many benevolent activities undertaken by the Club. With an emphasis of charitable work in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Mongolia, the Rotary Club of Kowloon North supports several local and international charities.
One of the greatest examples of the Club’s philanthropic work over the last few years has been the provision of vision screening and spectacles to students of primary and secondary schools in the Guangxi province. A group of volunteer optometrists would regularly visit schools in the mountainous regions in the north of Nanning, Guangxi Province and then deliver spectacles to the children that require them. Following visits to various schools in these mountainous regions, the Club would also raise funds for improving their educational facilities as well as toilets, washrooms and water tanks. The vision screening efforts happen on an annual basis, and the most recent one took place on 7th to 11th November 2015.
The Rotary Club of Kowloon North anticipates that The HUB Hong Kong will provide important community services for the children of Hong Kong. In the year 2015, the Club commenced the “Choose Hope Dream Big” initiative at the HUB Hong Kong, developing the children’s interests in various careers through a mentor and mentee system (e.g. working with a pastry chef at an internationally renowned hotel). Through its participation at The HUB Hong Kong, the Club is very excited about its future potential and anticipates that The HUB will grow to be an integral charitable organization in Hong Kong.
